The HAPI film presents a snapshot of economic history spanning from the dawn of civilization to today. The underlying theme unveils the interrelationship between the three essential components of economics, politics and culture. Economics plays a fundamental role in life.

Any system or government must have economics as its foundation, which is complimented by politics and economics—meaningfully put together by culture. Economics is a major factor in the development of any culture, any civilization, any nation, any empire and any institution. This film strives to promote economic empowerment through economic literacy. 

The aim of the film is to spread economic literacy and create dialogue that will lead to becoming financially astute. One of the main points of the film is to create solutions that are obtainable and easily implemented. Additionally, it’s important to note how politics impacts us economically. Understanding how they work in conjunction with each other ultimately is a solution. It’s important that the Hapi film isn’t just a lesson on history, but something that we will be able to apply to our everyday lives. HAPI is more than just a film it’s a movement of economic literacy.
